Natasha Johnston

Natasha has worked in amateur sport for twelve years. As the Director of the True Sport Secretariat, one of Natasha’s key priorities is to manage the True Sport Strategy and support its Steering Committee. Through this comprehensive and concerted undertaking the True Sport Secretariat and the Steering Committee are committed to contributing to the enhancement of ethical conduct in all aspects, and at all levels, of sport throughout Canada. In addition, Natasha collaborates with a group of key leaders to ensure synergies are realized through the work of the True Sport Secretariat.
Prior to her role as Director of the True Sport Secretariat, Natasha held a number of roles during her nine years with the Canadian Centre for Ethics in Sport. From Project Coordinator in the Doping Control Program to Senior Manager of Membership for True Sport, she has become an advocate for amateur sport and has gained extensive experience in a number of issues relating to ethics in sport.
Prior to joining the CCES, Natasha was with Football Canada for three years where she worked on and initiated a variety of programs targeted at increasing participation in amateur football.
During her spare time she enjoys participating in a variety of sports and spending time with her family.
