Teaching True Sport: A Decision-Making Game
A Racing Against Drugs Pit Stop

Decision-Making Game

The True Sport Ethical Decision-Making game is a fun activity that gets kids thinking and working together. The object of the activity is for teams of participants to make their way from START to FINISH as quickly as they can by discussing and reaching a consensus on a decision about a real life ethical scenario.

The following adaptation of the True Sport Ethical Decision-Making game was developed for the RCMP’s “Racing Against Drugs” event.  Participants work their way around a “track” made up of a variety of fun and interactive “Pit Stops” that promote positive messages.

The “Racing Against Drugs” event specifically targets Grade 5 students (ages 9-11) and each “Pit Stop” consists of an approximately 8 minute activity for groups of 8-12 students. This event builds awareness around drug and safety issues, along with healthy alternative choices to drugs such as sports, hobbies and the arts.
